3d Cut Way Text Problem
I’m new to Motion 5, but have some experience with After Effects.
Basically, I’ve figured out away to create 3D text with the special effect stroke fill that I want;
however, I can not find a way to punch out the face of the text so I can have an video playing through the inset of the text (nor do i know how I would position the video so it appears properly as I want)I’ve been reading about cut way text, that seems to be achieved by building a multiple layer composition.
But I can’t find any information on how to do this in Motion 5, or even much info on how to build multi layer compositions.Can someone please help me?! it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey I’m not 100% sure this is the effect that you want but try putting an image map on the video you want to play inside the text, then drag the text layer into the source map.
