Creating a 3d character (semi-cartoony). I need to be able to change the shirt that will not always be the same size, but not making it part of the mesh since the weights would change. Is the cloth tag and cloth belt tag the best option in this case?

    Hi Chad,

Are there other ways to do this? I don’t know if you mean changing clothes during animation or just changing them from scene to scene so that they don’t have to be connected to the character’s mesh.

It would be connected or belted to the mesh, since the mesh is animated. It could change from scene to scene. I’m trying to avoid re-weighting the mesh every time there is a change.

If you mean avoiding re-weighing the mesh when changing the entire clothes, I don’t think that’s possible.
