    Hi,

I am trying to track a walk thru kitchen into back garden looking into a corner for few secs then back into kitchen. So it is not a fixed angle.

Basically I am looking to walk thru kitchen to outside door to see a dancing alien in the back garden as you come round the corner then you going back into kitchen.

This solve seems to be failing on the 3d camera track option.
    I have tried different settings.

Is it possible to track a part of the footage where it show the corner of garden.

    Thanks

I had the same problem with a shot where I wanted to stick flashing text on the side of a boat that moves though the scene. I simply cut the part of the clip where I knew I could get a clean track and used that in the camera tracker. When I finished the effect, I inserted the AE portion back into the timeline with the non-tracked footage on either side.

It’s impossible to know what advice to provide without seeing the footage. Each camera or 3D tracking shot provides its own set of issues.
