3D Camera Mapping
I am avid AE user and new to Cinema 4D.
I am working on a Doc for a Non-profit (https://www.invisiblechildren.com) and we want to 3D Camera Map. Like this https://motionographer.com/theater/onesize-playground-titles/
We want to to it to already exciting photos of the guy you see in the test movie. You can see the edges have some problems and the background doesn’t match well, this will all be fixed. The plan is to do this mapping technique to 6 more photos of this guy where he’s standing, sitting with other people around him. We have no great modeler on staff so we have been taking some free models we found online and trying to match them to the photo and get the projection as close as we can.
My question is would it work if we bought better models online from those model sites and matched them up best we can or should we just look into get a production company to do it for us? We are on a time line and we don’t have the time to get our modeling skills to par to pull off modeling people. If someone matched the models up with the projecting we can do all the post light and camera moves on it.
Any other tips you could add for doing this would be great! Thanks
