I’m moving a camera out from a US map in AE 5.5.

    I have a 3D camera parented to a null.

At the start of my move the camera is near map level facing east, looking at a nested object. At the end of my move, the camera is raised up above the US looking down and rotated so the map appears as you’d normally look at it.

With just these two points keyframed, all works as it should. HOWEVER, if I pull the camera back from the object by animating only one parameter, each frame between the initial keyframe and the new keyframe is flipped upside down.

    Any quick ideas on solutions?

With just this description I can’t be sure what the problem is, but double check your camera’s Point of Interest (or lose it all together) as sometimes animating the Position property so that it passes the Point of Interest property will flip the camera.
