    Hey,

I’m doing this project for a gift basket delivery service.

In one scene, I’m going to have this spinning basket, deploying to various parts of the US.

    US scan

I’d like to have these red 3D arrows shooting out from behind the basket, showing where the baskets are going. I could just make some 3D looking arrows in Photoshop and then use a mask to reveal them from behind the basket. However, I was kind of hoping that there would be a way to create a more realistic effect…Real 3D arrows.

    Anyway, all suggestions/tutorials are welcome.

    Thanks.

It’s like a ribbon or a filmstrip – you can’t do it without a plugin. Search the AE COW for “ribbon”.
