October 21, 2011 at 5:14 pmDo you want to create 3D models and then animate them, or just animate existing models that you download from the Internet? If you don’t need to create the models then you might want to take a look at DAZ Studio 4. It is both free and easy to use and designed specifically for animation.
If you need to create the models, then that’s a different story. Any “real” 3D application (i.e., Blender, Cinema 4D, 3D Studio Max, Maya, Carrara Pro, Hexagon, etc.) is not going to be easy to use. They take a significant investment to master modeling and animation. I found Carrara Pro to be the easiest to animate with. You can actually assign surface properties like wood, or rubber, and the surfaces will respond accordingly when encountered. Cinema 4D is fairly easy animate with too but it’s expensive.

Yes it works. Almost all 32-bit programs run fine on Windows 7 64-bit.

October 22, 2011 at 2:14 pmCheck out Hash Animation Master 3d. It’s only 32 bit but you can rent it for $80 a year… or just buy it… It may not be Maya but it’s a good start. Lot’s of people use it.
