3D anaglyph
Hi I am new to this forum and to Sony Vegas.
This is an unusual question and I am hoping that someone who is expienced with SONY Vegas can help.
I want to be able to create a Red / Cyan 3D anaglyph movie in Vegas using lef and right stereo footage.
Basically the left side needs to only have the red channel and the right side only needs to have the blue and green channel to make cyan. Then the left red channel is overlayed on the right channel to create the 3D movie.
I know how to do this on a JPG in Photoshop but I have no idea where to start in Vegas.
The other way it can be done is to copy the red channel from the left side and replace the right channel in the right side with this.
If someone could let me know if any of this is possible and how to do it, that would be great.

Hi I have finally worked out how to make a 3D movie out of matching sycronised stereo video clips in Vegas. The next problem I am having is how to adjust the clips from side to side and up and down to align the clips correctly.
Can anyone help me on this?

Chose video FX thane
put red channel only to left movie
put green channel only to right movie and set blue component so to be showed look like green color
shift LEFT movie by 1 to 4 frame to RIGHT
compositing mode for left movie set to Difference sqard.
compositing mode for right movie set to source alphayou can see anaglyph movie in prewiev window but this is only in BW no color 🙁 Please help me how can I make color anaglyp with Vegas.

im trying to do this feature as well. im wondering which fx filter to apply. i get the concept i just seem to be missing this step.
