  34″ Umatic and TBC

  Regarding a post I made a week or so ago, about running a 3/4″ Umatic into Media 100 and having it read as PAL. Today I tried running it through a VHS deck (in lieu of a TBC) and that did not work. In frustration, I decided to burn the footage onto DVD and then put it into the Media 100. And hey! Patching the Umatic through the DVD player into the Media 100 worked as a TBC, to my surprise. Just thought I’d pass my little success story along.
