[Ron Pestes] “I am still on the original firmware. I don’t remember what number it is. I bought the camera in Feb. or 09.”
I have just upgraded my camera to 1.25, it’s pretty easy to do, there is a vimeo video explaining (at an incredibly tediously slow pace) how to do it.
We will see, I have just bought another Transcend, this time it is ORANGE and we will see if the different firmware and different memory stick make a difference!
Thanks for the input, I will report back.
Cheers,

March 11, 2011 at 4:37 amMark, I just went through the update recently. The latest version is 1.25.
See here for instructions on finding the version in your camera: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/142/870911#870925
See here for my update experience, as well as arguments for not doing it yourself; https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/142/873861#873861
With respect to the OP, I’ve successfully used a 32gb SanDisk Extreme class 10 card and Hoodman Raw SxS adapter without issues. Caviat; I haven’t used it a lot; actually have not filled the card yet or over-cranked with it.
