Does anyone use the 30fps option on these cameras? I prefer shooting in 60, then converting to 24. Any cool projects done in 30?

Rarely.
We have on a couple of occasions shot 30p, most specifically for clients who wanted 30fps (for web videos) that were greenscreen projects… chose 30p to give cleaner keys than interlaced.
Other than that, we almost always shoot exclusively 24p (Canon 24F). I can’t even remember the last time I shot something 60i.
