I have recently shot something on the dvx100 in 30p. I’ve done it before without any problems. My footage looks fine on the tape and the preview. Once I capture it however it gets these weird jaggies. It looks like diagonal lines. I do not believe it is interlacing, nor do my professors. When I’ve used the deinterlacing filter it makes everything look really terrible. I also have some 24p footage shot from the same camera and it is doing the same thing! I am SO annoyed. I’ve never run into problems before.

What is the best way to capture 30p footage in FCP?
What is going wrong with MY footage?
Best way to work in a timeline with 30p and 24p footage?

I’ll try to upload a screenshot to show you an example of what I’m talking about.
