    30i&24p Two formats One Project

    I’m prepping post for a reality show intended for broadcast.
    MediaComposer 11.2.6 will be used for offline&online.
    The bulk of the material is being shot in standard 30i
    on Sony IMX. However, certain sections of the series are
    being shot at 24p on Panasonic DVCPro-50. What’s my
    best line of attack for a smooth postprod. work flow?
    Does anyone have any insights? Can I digitize the 24p
    into a 30i project? Do I have to create separate projects?
    Will I have to down convert the 24p footage in order to
    incorporate it into the rest of the material? Am I up a creek?

    Just do everything as 30i. Treat the 24p material as 30i since the tape is NTSC – treat it like any other NTSC tape.
