30fps in 24fps comp playing all 30 frames???
Posted by Patryk Rebisz on June 8, 2007 at 10:16 pmIn 24fps timeline i want a 30fps video to play all the frames (so it will look like a small slow-mo). How can i accomplish it?

then conform it to the 23.976 and the footage will play slower
it won’t be alot of slow motion going from 30 to 24. You can try using time remapping with the pixel interpolation feature turned on to slow it down further with decent results. -

June 11, 2007 at 1:57 pmalso, if it is 30 interlaced, you can interpret footage as half your target rate (23.976 / 2 = 11.988) and set separate fields (and probably set preserve edges) and drop that into a 23.976 comp… this will slow it down twice as much.
you lose some resolution with this technique, since each frame is primarily made up from data from a single set of fields, but each frame is more accurate than those created buy time remapping or timewarp. and you may use those to slow it down even further.
