30fps from 60i ?
Is there a way in FCP to mimic a slow shuuter speed? It would mean removing every other frame and then doubling the duration of the remaining frames.
Anyone?

I do that in FC with the “Posterice Time” of BCC.

yes I’m sure that would do it but no budget for that. I think I can just slow it down to 50% and then export the clip and reimport it and take the speed up to 200%

You can try like that but you must uncheck “Frame blending” when setting the speed.
Joe’s Filters got a Beta of a “Field Expander”. You my have a try.
