3-way color correction effect
i have been trying to isolate a color to get the same effect which they use in the movie pleasantvile and sin city, however when i try to highlight a red poster, and make everything else completely black and white i still get some shades of red showing on other objects like the lips of the people in the scene. im trying to figure out the easiest way of just altering one object. i know this cannot be too difficult, any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

This should help you out. Long story short, Color will work better, but FCP can handle it. You’ll just need to use a garbage matte.
