3 way CC kills alpha channel
I have a clip with an alpha channel on which I’m trying to do a 3 way limit color effect, but it kills the transparency of the clip. Any way around this? Lately I’ve noticed that there are a lot of filters that won’t play with an alpha channel.

Try this:
Copy the clip to the track above. Remove any filters from the bottom layer. Apply CC & any other filters to the top layer & set the composite mode to “Track Matte Alpha”.
