love the repousse and what it can do with text. however ….. i’ve created a detailed 3-d text design, with a specific extrusion material, custom front inflation material, carefully lit and shadowed etc …

i want to apply that same design to a number of other text words; i’ve tried any number of different ways to mark, copy and paste the original design …. i’ve tried to create a set of actions, going through the routine of recording etc — then tried to apply that set to some plain type, hoping it would take.

no luck … surely i don’t have to laboriously recreate the design step by step each time … is there a way to automate that procès, so i can just apply my design to some plain type and have it match ?
