I am in pre-production with a projection which we were planning on mainly using 2-D elements in the AE’s 3-D environment, however we wanted to up the project by warping some of our 2-D objects with a warp, thereby giving them 3-D properties in the camera when we move around.
    Is this possible?

If not, is it possible to important 3-D objects (say from Maya) and fly around them with the AE camera?

    Many Thanks,
    Chris

For real 3D warping your going to need a plug in called “Forge Freeform.” If you want to import some basic objects from Maya (without their textures) check out a plug in called “Zaxwerks Invigorator.” Also, this is the After Effect’s expressions form, for general questions like this you might want to post them on the general After Effects forum.
