3 camera simple timecode
I have a 3 camera event that I’ll be posting where I would like to have matching timecode.
I am using 2 pdw-355 and a pmw-350 can I use 1 as a master timecode and connect the other two via a splitter with regular composite video cable or do I need to buy a timecode generator?
Also what experience have you guys had using wireless timecode? And can you refer a good inexpensive one?

Can you get away with setting all your cameras to free run timecode, then just before the show take your 350 and plug a bnc from the time code out to the timecode in of your 355s that should jam sync all the cameras together. You shouldn’t need to keep them plug in together after that point. The timecodes should stay on without any drift. i have done the a bunch of times without much problems.
