    Hi All,

I’m in the middle of setting up a new system, that will combine my Audio G5 and my other Video G5 into 1 system. As I need 4 PCI slots in one machine, something has to go. Anyway, I’m trying to find some specs on a RAID-0 array on the internal drive bays of a current Mac Pro.

Essentially the plan is to load 2 of the internal bays with something like 2x Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm drives. Has anyone out there got any blackmagic speed test results with a similar set up?

    Many thanks!

    Adam.

Final Cut Studio, Adobe Creative Suite etc

you get about 130Mb/sec with 2 drives internally stripped RAID 0.
IT’s an easy, cheap setup. You use Apple Disk Utililty to do your RAID 0.
