2nd Monitor won’t go Full Screen in Avid – UPDATED INFO
Hey folks,
For some reason, my second monitor won’t go full screen anymore. It’s a bit intermittent i.e.. shutting down sometimes helps. But most of the time it just won’t work.
Is this a video card thing?
*** Also, here is a possible clue. Under the VIDEO PLAYBACK window it says “(Missing) Digital Cinema – Desktop Preview -Full Screen” is greyed out or in other words missing. I can’t get Full Screen in FCP as well.
Any insight would be appreciated.

Because this is across multiple apps, that would be my thought. The video card failing. See if you can borrow one to swap out and test

Oddly enough this worked for me, but I don’t understand why? What is the gear symbol doing to prevent it from going full screen?
