Running a G5, NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT graphics card, Leopard 6.5.2, FCP 6.0.3and Blackmagic Multibridge Extreme using Sony 46″ Bravia LCD as second monitor. On Sony monitor, HD and screen saver pictures,or any video generated from the computer have missing lines at random throughout screen which may change or stay the same. More or fewer lines may appear. Problem is intermittent. Video moves up and down as lines appear and disappear. FCP HD playback stops when problem appears. Audio may have pops or stop altogether.
SD playback continues but picture moves up and down as though it can’t decide which field it wants to playback in. Finally it displays both fields at the same time. (At least that is how it looks.) And it stops playback. Audio during SD playback may have pops or stop. Apple 30″ monitor is OK.

Didn’t do this until about a week ago.
Problem has been getting progressively worse. It stops with computer reboot but begins again after a minute or an hour or some unpredictable time frame. Blackmagic reboot does not seem to affect the problem.
Sony monitor is connected to the Blackmagic box via HDMI cable.

    Any ideas?
