Hi, First i apologize as this is for 9.2.2 and not OSX but i figured one of you had been there and done that!

    I have a G4 733 with 9.2.2

i want to replace a 70G (2nd data) drive with a 300 Gig drive. Main drive will remain intact

When i go to initialize the drive is warns me that only 137 gigs will be allocated on the drive.

is there a work around for this without using an additional card.

Can i format the drive into partitions in some way to allow the larger drive to be in 100 GIG partitions.

If not i guess i will go to a serial ATA controller but EIDE does what i need to do and they are cheap (or buy 120 gig drives and swap them out as needed)!

    Thanks
    Wayne
