    Hi everyone,

I just want a little insight on how to downscale and upscale my footage for a final 2K output for cinema and
DVD. Im working with 1080p DSLR footage, 2K, 4K, 5K AND 6K RED footage, and 2.5K blackmagic footage. Now what I want to know is whats the best way to go about upscaling the DSLR footage and downscaling the RED footage for 2K for cinema and DVD. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

For dvd put everything in a 1920×1080 sequence and export to mpeg2-dvd.

    for a DCP package:

make a custom size sequence of 1998×1080 full frame or 2048×858 scope at 24 fps.
