2GB RAM limit on Decklink Extreme
Posted by Mike Procunier on May 30, 2007 at 6:11 pmAny word on an update to 6.2 that will address this? Earlier posts said it would be released about a week after 6.2.

the week more we were to wait to get rid of the 2 GB limit already has become two weeks. Kristian and Luke, tell us how far you are with adressing this issue.

June 2, 2007 at 12:13 amI called Black Magic Today and they reassured me to go ahead and install the Extreme HD card. It should work fine with my 4.5 gigs. True?
I haven’t opened the Extreme box yet- and I am worried about this.
Should I return it and get the Kona 3? -

I as far as I know the HD cards haven’t got the problem.

June 5, 2007 at 12:43 amHi,
This issue only affects the SD PCIe cards which are:
1) DeckLink SP PCIe
2) DeckLink Extreme PCIeWe’re working on a fix of this. I know we’ve mentioned that it should have been released earlier but unexpected circumstances led to a delay which is highly regrettable.
