2GB RAM limit on Decklink Extreme

the week more we were to wait to get rid of the 2 GB limit already has become two weeks. Kristian and Luke, tell us how far you are with adressing this issue.

I called Black Magic Today and they reassured me to go ahead and install the Extreme HD card. It should work fine with my 4.5 gigs. True?
I haven’t opened the Extreme box yet- and I am worried about this.
Should I return it and get the Kona 3?

I as far as I know the HD cards haven’t got the problem.

Hi,

This issue only affects the SD PCIe cards which are:

1) DeckLink SP PCIe
2) DeckLink Extreme PCIe

We’re working on a fix of this. I know we’ve mentioned that it should have been released earlier but unexpected circumstances led to a delay which is highly regrettable.
