July 16, 2006 at 7:24 amThe Steadymove plugin ships free with Adobe Premiere Pro. Check your installation DVD. Also, IMO this plugin definitely works well.

July 16, 2006 at 7:11 pmThe full version gives you even more control and is also quite good.
The tradeoff is render time…

July 17, 2006 at 1:37 pmI’ve used it quite successfully…. Also note that there was a maintenance fix created a few months ago….

July 17, 2006 at 7:41 pmWhen I experimented with it about a year ago, I found that it noticeably degraded the image (because it has to blow the frame up more or less depending upon how erratic the camera movement is). Has that issue been addressed in more recent versions or patches?

July 18, 2006 at 2:52 amI’m not so impressed with Steadymove. Yes it does stabilise the image, but for broadcast use, the trade-off in picture quality is horrendous.
