I’ve tried looking for a solution but I can’t find it. When animating movement of a 2D object along a path with Auto-Orient, it randomly flips. A picture is worth a thousand words, so here’s a 4second video of what my problem is:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixLmBhsykko&feature=youtu.be
You’ll notice that the object moves fine, and then near the end of the video it flips briefly by 180 degrees before returning to normal.

No expression are used, and there are not keyframes on Rotation. I simply drew a path on a Shape layer and then copied that path onto the Composition that you can see in the video. I turn on Auto-orient and these occasional flips happen. Now, I can correct these by keyframing Rotation or by other tedious means, none of which are effective, as I have hundreds of sprites moving around and going through each frame of each sprite would be impossible.

Are there any elegant solutions to this? An expression that someone could explain how to use? Or a plug-in? Anything!! 😀
