    hi
I am trying to create some simple 2d dynamics, a simple cube falling on the ground, for later use in AE.
I have created 2 collision walls at the back and in the front of the cube to prevent from leaving the xy-plane. The walls have a tiny bit of space from the cube. But it doesn´t work really good.
Sometimes the cube jumps from the ground as it should, and in the air suddenly kind of stucks between the walls.
My collision settings of the walls:
elasticity, friction and collision noise everything 0.

Is there a a setting which should improve my setup.
Or is there a better way to create 2d Dynamics in C4D?

    thanks

perhaps setting Steps per Frame (and maybe Maximum Solver Iterations per Step) higher in Project/Dynamics/Expert would help

You might try going into project settings>dynamics>expert and increase the steps per frame setting. That tells Cinema to evaluate collisions more frequently. Sometimes objects move very quickly from frame to frame and collisions can be missed.

Another option would be to bake the dynamics animation and then delete all of the Z keyframes.
