29.97 DV EDL to Cinema Tools 23.98 D5 Recapture? Can someone tell me how to do this. I can figure it out. Thank you.

Export the 29.97 EDL from FCP…import that into Cinema Tools, use CT to conform the EDL to 23.98, export the new EDL..

im still confused. Export a standard EDL from FCP? There is no import EDL in Cinema Tools. There is an “Export Converted EDL”. Is that what you mean?

In Cinema Tool select FILE/EXPORT/CONVERTED EDL. Then tell CT where the 30fps EDL is and then tell it where to save the new conveted 24fps EDL. It’s really not that hard.

Thats what I thought. How can you tell if its been converted properly?
