We are due to supply a recent music video we shot on RED One to JBTV. We shot it in the UK at 25fps, however on the JBTV website (https://www.jbtvonline.com/contact), to supply in HD, we have to have it at 59.94 fps. We want to go for the HDV option. We have a Z1 ready to record onto. Whats the best way to go about doing this?

I understand you can change frame rates in compressor, but is this implying they wanted it interlaced?

You shot RED, at 25fps. And now you want to convert it to HDV at 59.94 fps (720p)?

Only 720p supports 59.94 FRAMES per second. 59.94 at 1080i means FIELDS per second.

And converting an I-Frame format to GOP…and converting the frame rate? Ugh. Do yourselves a favor…output at 25fps to tape (HDCAM, DVCPRO HD) and then take it to a post facility where they will convert it to 59.94 720p properly, with the Terranex or Snell Wilcox that is designed to do this.
