25fps MKV converted to ProRes exporting blurry clips with speed adjustment
I’ve generally always been able to find solutions to my problems here on Creative Cow however this problem has forced me to register, hah!
I was given screen record .mkv footage to edit a video. I converted this to an mp4 in Perian, and then to ProRes in compressor. My sequence settings in FCP7 are matched to the clip.

Video Example of the issue (first clip is fine, second clip which has a speed of 150% is fuzzy looking): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mbeAbiG3Zo&feature=youtu.beAny of my clips that are sped up or include opacity changes export blurry/fuzzy. I’ve tried exporting with various iterations of Sequence settings, playing with the Field Dominance tab, and cannot get clean footage to export throughout.
This thread was the most similar thing I could find, however adjust the field dominance still doesn’t solve my blurry footage issue. https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/blurry-horizontal-lines-on-exported-final-cut-pro-footage-need-help.1352351/
Any help appreciated.
