250gb ssd kinston enough for cache ?
i purchased another ssd coming tomorrow is this 250gb ssd enough for caching i work on small clips not large clips such as 700mb i work on file size less then 100mb less then 3 min videos.

Yes, of course it is big enough.
But big projects and or big frame sizes will fill it faster than you will believe.
So purge caches often.Save finished clips and resources on a different drive.

Agree to both. It’s not about the size of the original files, it’s about the size of your raster, the number of layers, and the length of the project.

The cache is self-pruning; it automatically deletes older cached layer-frames to make room for new ones without the user having to manually purge.

You’re absolutely right that the conformed media cache does not automatically delete old items. I was referring to the disk cache, which does.
