25 pin output
Anybody using the 25 pin output of the AJA I/O for monitoring purposes? In the manual that is descibed as an option of the analog outputs are tied up. (page 34)
Just curious.

I do. I bought a cable that has the Tascam 25-pin on one side and breaks out to 8 TRS on the other end which I have in my patch bay. That way I can use the 4 analog XLR connectors to hook up to a rental deck to output my show. At this point I am still really only using two of the eight channels. Go Figure.

Is the 8 TRS connectors split into 4 Input and 4 Output ?
And is the 4 Output in addition to the 4 XLR output, which means I can have two sets of identical outputs ?

Hey Chrispy,
The Mac guy that installed my FCP system and AJA says that all outputs are always active so these would be in addition to the regular XLR outputs. It’s only an output so no ins I’m afraid. The cable is called DA88XM-2. This is a 2 foot cable with one DB-25 multipin connector to 8 male XLR 3 pin connectors. But you can order it in other configurations as well.Hope this helps,
