  24pn sync-sound

  First, thank you for taking the time to read this post.

  I am going to be getting P2 footage shot in HD 720p 24pn, shot on a HVX200. This is a music video so the talent’s lips need to match the CD we are using for playback on set. I am editing in FCP 5.4.1. Is there a workflow somebody could share with me so I have some hair left on my head at the end of this project?

  I am concerned with sequence settings, so I edit in 24pn and that the CD audio matches his lips in the editor. Is this even possible?

  Also, is there any special prep-work needed in DVDSP in the DVD encode process when working with 24pn?

  As you can see I am a newbie at this and I know you guys have a great pool on professionals that know your stuff and I will greatly appreciate any input.
