    Hey Folks ~

I’m going into production on a web series and shooting on the HVX 200a on P2 Cards. My question is this: Which frame rate would be the best to shoot in regarding editing work flow (FCP) and not compromising any “film look”. I originally wanted to shoot 720/24pn, however, my editor thinks the 24pn may complicate the editing process, and suggested just to shoot in 30p, and was pretty certain it won’t change the “look” of the picture. As mentioned, the primary viewing will be for the web. Not going to be transferring to film. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

You should be fine with 24PN if you want your finished video at 24fps.

Shooting in 30P will only give you bigger files.
