    Hey all,

I have checked the forum for previous posts but didn’t find anything. I have been using FCP for over 2 years now and am more than familiar with it but I have had a situation that has me curious.

I have shot a lot of footage on a Panasonic SDX-900 in 24PA. I know about putting that in a 23.98 sequence, etc. Initially this footage was never supposed to be on television but we have been asked to put this video we created on regional television.

Is there anything I need to do differently to make this play accurately on TV beside but the 23.98 sequence into a 29.97 sequence? I know this is remedial but we have always shot 30p with this camera and put everything for TV into a 29.97 sequence. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this is a remedial question then I apologize in advance.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Make your edit in 23.98, removing the pulldown. When the edit is finished, add a normal 2:3 pulldown and send it back to tape. It will be ready for broadcast.

    Best,

Thanks Jan. I will do that. I knew it would be easy.
