Just read this article and wanted some last min advice.
    https://www.adamwilt.com/24p/index.html#24pRecording

    I am shooting with 5 cameras this weekend. 1 Hpx170, 2 Sony V1Us, and 2 Sony FX1
my plan to match up frames as close without going into 60i was to shoot the V1Us and HPX in 1080i 24p and put the Fx1’s in shutter 30.

    My questions are:
    1. should i use 30 shutter to get the Fx1’s close to to 24p (or a post prod filter on FCP?)
    2. Should i use 24p or 24pA to get these all to play nice on the time line?

from the article it seems like standard 24p might be the way to go, but was just wondering if anyone had a dif take on the article or from experience.

Thanks cowfolk, you are the best

You are going to be in a world of hurt if you want these cameras to match.

First thing you need to decide is what frame rate you want to edit at and match all the cameras to that.

What options does the FX1 have?

As far the HVX 24p is used when you want to edit in a 29.97i sequence and 24pA when you plan to use 23.98p sequences.
