24pa footage should take up less space than 60i?
I thought I read somewhere that 24pA footage should take up less hard disk space than shoot 60i. Is that true? Seems to make sense. You have 6 fewer images per second. However, capturing 24pA material (DV) using the advanced pulldown removal in FCP, still yields about 11 GB per hour of footage, the same as 60i. I thought by using the advanced pulldown removal, that it’s removing the pulldown cadence and hence leaving me with my 24 frames per second?
