Have you had pretty good experience bringing in 24p (not 24pa) material via SDI thru a Kona or Blackmagic HD card and getting the card to recognize the proper A frame? Any recommendations on the settings?

Using a Kona 3 or Blackmagic HD extreme card, both of which can do 3:2 pulldown (Kona does several, w/ multiple presets)

    thanks!

It’s not worth it IMHO. Same exact effect by capturing Firewire and export to ProRes with much less storage requirement. Probably need a trip to CinemaTools though.
