    Hi,

I have shot some footage at 720p24, and wanted to do a time remapping effect.

Obviously the footage has a slow frame rate for this type of effect, so i was wondering if its possible, using motion’s optical flow, to export a 60p version for editing in after-effects? (perhaps with some sort of trick, by slowing down the footage to a specific percent, and then exporting the comp to 60p)?

If yes, then what steps should be taken to ensure a high quality output?

    Warm Regards,

    Nick P.

all you can do is try it and let us know how it works for you.

AE has its own retiming functionality.

The steps for using Optical Flow are fully explained in the Motion online help system.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
