24p simulation plug in or filter?
Is there a 24p simulation plugin or look filter for FCPX?
I don’t want to actually convert a clip to 24p. just take a 29.97 clip and make it look like 24p.
just fake it or simulate it and still stay in 29.97.
3;2 pull down effect?i think Natress made a plug in like this for FCP7 but I don’t see anything like that anymore on their new website.
Does anyone else make a plug in or filter for this purpose?
or am I missing something already available in FCPX or Motion? -

Pulldown is for 24p to 30p. You want to do a pullup effect. A pulldown stretches 24p to 30p or 60i.
Try Twixtor, try Motion, try After effects. What you want is a REVERSE TELECINE effect. While it will most likely drop your video to 24p first, you can always do a pulldown to get back to your 30p, while retaining the motion feel.
