    Hi all,

I want to use Compressor to remove the pull-down on some 24p footage and also convert it to ProRes (in order to work with it alongside some existing ProRes footage) but I’m not sure which settings to use. I have run some tests using the “Apple ProRes 422 for Progressive” settings, checked “reverse telecine” and specified the frame size I need. This results in a file that integrates seamlessly into my ProRes timeline in FCP without requiring any rendering but looks noticeably interlaced and consequently not so good when I play it back. Is this because I’ve used the wrong settings in Compressor? Should I have used the “Apple ProRes 422 for Interlaced” settings?

    Thanks!
