Hi, I’ve been doing some tests to remove the jagged lines (from NTSC DV 29.97 footage) that I get from exporting from AE. I used Magic Bullet Frames to deinterlace the footage with the best results so far.

    1) If I export 24P from AE, then import that into a 24P Premiere Pro project, then make a DVD with Encore. Will the DVD be 24P and will it play back properly on most DVD players?

    2) If I leave it 30P from AE, should I import into a regular interlaced Premiere Pro project or a custom 30P project?

Any workflow advice would be much appreciated 🙂

    Thanks,

    Marc

Why are you deinterlacing a movie after you have output it from After Effects as interlaced?

    Thanks Todd for the reply.

Umm, maybe I misunderstood… but I was informed that After Effects automatically deinterlaces footage when you export? So I used a plug-in to help make it better quality (less jagged lines) when I export from After Effects.
