24P Normal Work Flow Question
Hello,
I have tried reading and searching the 24P questions but my situation is a bit different.
1st – Please understand that at the time I worked the project I was only just starting to understand the basics of editing and filming.I filmed and edited a project 6 months ago. At the time I thought I was having interlace issues but what I did not know is that I shot in 24P (quite frankly I did not know anything other than I is interlace and P is progressive) Now – I get it but back then ….. All I can say is being self taught you do a lot of backtracking!
The final project was mix of film, AE motion graphics, and camtasia footage. Now the requester has asked for some changes. I have made the changes and I could just follow the same de-interlacing steps I did before but now the I understand that I shot at 24P normal I really want to make this right.
SO for the technical stuff
The final project will be shown on Dell computers (more than likely on projectors connected to Dell laptops.)
There is a chance they will also be shown on the internet but this has not been confirmed.Footage:

Without having to rebuild the entire 20 minute video – do I have any options here? The work around I had before was to export to compressor and apply the deinterlace filter set to blur. Even and Odd look terrible blur was the only good option.Should I export (and if so any suggestions on settings) and then send the mov to cinema tools?
Should I run my source Scratch footage thru cinema tools?OR – For something completely different:
Should I send the sequence to Color and use that interlace filter? As you can see I understand the options (elementary level of course) but I just don’t know what workflow is best. If I could just get STEPS then it would also keep from making YET AGAIN a rookie mistake.
Thanks!
