    Hi,

I’m actually editing some TV program with vegas pro, in a 1080/25p timeline. We usually uses 1080/25p footage from EX1 and from a canon 60D. Due to some 60Hz light flickering problem in some interior shots, we had to shoot in 24p with the Canon 60d.

How can i use these shots in my timeline…? I tried to check the ” disable resample” in the clip properties and the footage seems better when rendered in PAL DV widescreen (our final render)…

    What is the best solution…?

    Thank you for helping us!

    Denis

You got it. Using Disable Resample is the correct approach. Vegas will duplicate 1 frame every second to match the 25p and it’s hardly noticeable.

Thank you, i’m going this way!

And what would be the result on the audio? Actually, i don’t have anything on my 24p source, but just in case i would use it to record some audio next time…?

    Thanks again!

[Pinson Denis] “And what would be the result on the audio?”

The audio is unaffected. It plays back as normal.
