24p footage set-up
Hi All,
Happy Holidays! Here’s the story: I have always cut everything 60i, but was just given a project with footage that a client does know if it was recorded 23.98 or 24p. There will be no 60i, all 23.98 or 24p, 16 x 9. Is there a way I can determine at what rate it was recorded (client doesn’t know who shot it)? Does it matter, or will FCP see 23.98 and make it 24? Secondly, since I’ve never set-up a 24p anamorphic project before, is there any advice or a suggested link you put me to that would walk me through it?
