I’ve tried everything I know to create a 24p (23.98) film effect for content shot, captured and cut in a 29.97 timeline. I’ve used after effects with this formula https://www.dvinfo.net/articles/filmlook/broadway1.php, tried capturing in 23.98, and tried outputting to 23.98 with Blackmagic pulldowns.

Does anyone know how to crate a 24p look or film effect for content shot and cut in 29.97?

    Thanks

    RR~

have you done the 3:2 pulldown in AE. That should turn your stuff into 24 fps.
