  24 pin dot matrix or inkjet roll paper printer with OS X?

  I’d love to hear from anyone with experience using a 24 pin dot matrix printer with OS X. Okidata tells me their units will work. Lexmark has a few but I need to use roll paper and they say the OS X compatible models don’t offer that.

  I have a 9 pin Epson now that sort of works. It does print but I can’t access any particular fonts or check to see what print mode I’m in (draft, letter quality etc.) and the print quality is unacceptable.

  If I could find a small inkjet that allows for roll paper I’d go that route, but I can’t find one.

  Any information on a good print quality roll paper printer for OS X would be greatly appreciated!
