  24 fps workflow

  I was wondering how I import footage shot on Canon t2i 1080 24 fps. Should I run it through mpegStreamclip first on Prores 422 then import into FCP timeline – or can I drag the clip directly from the video card onto the time line.

  My only reservation about dragging directly is that I would still be using the H.264 codec, right? Or would FCP render it once imported.

  Confused.
